Who we are
Flower Carpenter and Aluminium Fixing ("we", "us", "our") is a carpentry and aluminium fixing business based in Musaffah M-9, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why, and how it's handled, in line with the UAE's Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.
Information we collect
When you use our "Get a Quote" form, we ask for your name, mobile number, the service you're interested in, and any project details you choose to share. We do not ask for payment information, passwords, or government ID numbers anywhere on this site.
How the quote form actually works
This is important: our quote form does not send your details to a server or database we manage. When you submit it, your browser opens WhatsApp with your details already filled into a message, which you then choose to send. That message is transmitted directly between you and our WhatsApp number, governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy (WhatsApp is operated by Meta Platforms, Inc.). We only see what you actually choose to send us on WhatsApp.
Third-party services we use
- WhatsApp — for receiving quote requests and messages you choose to send us.
- Google Maps — embedded on our Contact page to show our workshop location. Google may set its own cookies when this map loads; see Google's Privacy Policy for details.
- Google Fonts — used to display this website's typography. Loading a font makes a request to Google's servers, which may log standard technical information such as your IP address.
- Cloudflare — our hosting security and performance provider, which processes standard web traffic data (such as IP addresses) to protect the site from abuse and keep it fast.
- Google Business Profile — our star rating and review count shown on this site are pulled from our public Google Business listing; we don't collect anything from you to display this.
Cookies
This website does not use its own analytics or advertising cookies. The third-party services listed above (particularly Google Maps and Google Fonts) may set their own cookies as part of normal operation; we don't control these directly.
How we use your information
Any details you send us via WhatsApp are used solely to respond to your enquiry, provide a quotation, arrange a site visit, and deliver the carpentry or aluminium services you've asked about. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties for marketing purposes.
Data retention
We keep enquiry and project-related messages for as long as reasonably needed to complete your job and for our own basic business records afterward, then delete them when there's no longer a legitimate reason to keep them.
Your rights
Under UAE data protection law, you can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct anything inaccurate, or delete it, unless we have a legitimate business or legal reason to keep it. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
Children's privacy
This website is intended for adults arranging carpentry and aluminium services and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
